GTEC hosted another great summer bash and networking evening for as many of our engineers who could make it. This year we held it in Birmingham, a bit more central than Portsmouth where we are based. In the past, GTEC held big parties on the Spit Bank Fort in the middle of the Solent. This has now turned into a hotel and the "feel" isn't what it was.
We were very lucky this year that one of our long serving contractors was able to host us in their wonderful restaurant. The food was really special and I think I counted about 5 courses, possibly more if you counted the delicious chai at the end. We literally rolled out at midnight! It was so good to put faces to names and give something back to the loyal engineers that work through GTEC. We're already looking forward to next years event!
