We have a client who is looking for an engineer with a geotechnical engineering qualification, preferably an MSc. There are opportunities in all our clients offices in New Zealand, however, their immediate requirement, is for the Wellington area. It is a site & office-based role. Fieldwork & reporting. there will be good opportunities for learning geotechnical earthquake engineering, liquefaction & dynamically loaded slopes.
A Chartered Engineer would be good, but not essential, as the successful candidate would have to go through the Engineers NZ process to gain CPEng in NZ, regardless, probably in a year or so after landing. Ideally the candidates would have about 10 years experience. The salary would be somewhere between $80k & $120k NZ Dollars looking to hopefully increase in year 2. There will be a relocation package also.
