ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST
Our client is currently seeking an engineering geologist with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. The successful candidate should have a degree in geology and some relevant experience in engineering geology / geotechnical engineering. They will be expected to undertake a wide range of field and office-based tasks including;
preparation of geotechnical desk studies & walkover inspections,
geological mapping,
development of conceptual ground models,
geotechnical logging of engineering soils and bedrock,
assisting with the preparation of ground investigation reports (GIR).
The successful candidate should be ambitious, highly motivated, and enthusiastic. A valid full UK driving licence is required. We will offer a competitive salary for this full-time, site and office-based position.
This is an ideal opportunity to work within a small independent consultancy based in the Southwest.
