Job Description

Our client has been in the drilling industry for over 60 years. Their primary focus is in providing quality drilling services in key markets such as ground investigations, geothermal, water wells and mineral explorations.

Based in Scotland, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of their mobile drilling rigs / crews. Occasional travel to various operating sites around the Scottish central belt as necessary.

The Contracts Manager will also play an integral role in strengthening and developing relationships with both their existing and future clients.

Regular working hours: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Core Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of drilling operations, contracts and crews.
• Liaising with existing and new clients
• Development and pricing of new projects, tenders and opportunities
• Recruitment, staff training and records
• Health & Safety obligations
• Dealing with new enquiries
• Monthly invoicing of completed work when required.

• Experience in the drilling industry
• Experience in pricing bids / tenders
• Suitable site supervisor qualifications
• Ability to foster good working relationships with clients
• Valid driving license
