Vacancy: Assistant Engineering Geologist/Geo-Environmental Engineer.
Our client is an experienced multi-disciplinary team of structural, civil and geotechnical engineers and have a vacancy for an Assistant Engineering Geologist/Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team.
Location: Northampton
Attributes and Key kills:
2 years minimum experience in the industry
UK drivers licence and own transport
Degree in Geology, engineering geology or environmental science
Be able to carry out site contamination assessments from Stage1 Tier one to Stage 3
Be able to undertake geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations.
Competent in soil and rock logging to BS5930
Able to schedule contamination, waste classification and geotechnical testing.
Be proficient in writing desk studies and interpretive GIR
Be able to carry out the design of remediation works and validation.
Have strong technical report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
Be proficient in MS Office skills.
Experience of EIA process and reporting would be an advantage.
